Nice-Riviera Airport A
major airline transport hub, is the largest airport
outside of Paris. It handled 8 million passengers in
1998, and international passenger figures increased
by 18.5% in 1998, surpassing European airports such
as Geneva and Lisbon.
There
are two terminals, one for international flights and
the other for domestic flights. The current expansion
programme will bring its capacity to 16 million passengers
by the year 2007.

Cannes-Mandelieu Airport: one of the largest business traffic airports in France
This
airport handles international tourism and business traffic,
with a capacity for business planes up to 22 tons. A

Rail
ConnectionsOver 150 trains leave the Nice Train
Station daily, including the Trans Europe Express Nice-Paris
and Nice-Milan. 25 other stations along the coast are
on the French and European network. Passengers can take
the revolutionary high speed T.G.V. to Paris,
Lyon and Marseilles. A "T.G.V. Méditerranée"
is in the planning stage to link the French
Riviera to Italy and Spain.
